GENERAL PUBLIC

As a childcare provider, lifeguard, bus driver, or first responder for work, your place of work may require you take a first aid class. You personally may want to have CPR training to respond to a family member who has issues. We can provide instruction on these American Heart Association (AHA) subjects:

· HeartSaver BLS – CPR & AED

· HeartSaver First Aid

· HeartSaver First Aid – CPR & AED

· HeartSaver for K -12 Schools

· HeartSaver Pediatric First Aid – CPR & AED

· Blood Borne Pathogens

· Stop the Bleed

 AHA HeartCode is also available –a way to learn CPR in a two-part course. Students purchase the class from AHA, provided on-line. After viewing the course contents, you complete a computer test to get the initial certification. You then contact SLTS for arranging a time to complete the 2nd portion of videos and hands-on instruction & testing. 

The above classes can be taught to meet federal OSHA regulations & state requirements. SLTS can provide original classes as well as re-certifications. Material is always taught at a level that works with your current skills and in a manner that leaves no student behind. Class length and size is set by subject requirements, so may be limited. They set time & place that works for the students.
